Those interested in healthcare career invited to open day

Leamington Editorial 2nd Feb, 2018   0

THOSE interested in pursuing a career in healthcare are invited to find out more at an open day at Warwick Hospital.

The free event at the Lakin Road hospital’s John Turner Centre takes place on Saturday February 10, from 10am to 2pm, and welcomes anyone looking for permanent or temporary work.

The hospital’s A&E department is just one of many looking to fill roles including nurses, healthcare assistants, doctors, administrators, paramedics and radiographers, to name just a few.

Those eager to start work quickly have the chance to be interviewed on the day.

Hospital spokeswoman Rachel Williams said: “A career in the NHS can be a thoroughly rewarding one. At South Warwickshire Foundation Trust there are lots of opportunities to develop and progress, in both clinical and non-clinical roles. There is a great culture here and our staff survey results show that staff enjoy working here.

“The aim of our recruitment open day is to help those that are looking for a career in healthcare and showcase our Emergency Department, which is one of the best in the country.”

The open day includes free parking and free refreshments.
