Time to get creative again in Warwick district

IT’S almost time to get the district’s creative juices flowing.

Ignite 2024 takes place at the Royal Pump Rooms in Leamington on Thursday July 11 between 6.30pm and 9.30pm and promises to be an evening of inspirational visual art, performances and talks.

There will also be a chance to connect with local organisations and artists over canapes and drinks.

The evening will begin with presentations from previous Warwick District Council Arts Grant Recipients. This is an opportunity to hear about the work creative organisations are doing within the district and learn more about the Arts Grants Programme.

Playbox Theatre will discuss The Phoenix Project – the rebirth of Playbox Theatre following Covid 19.

Pangea Sculptor’s Centre will discuss their Arts Development Grant, which explored Public Spaces with the Sculpture Programme.

After the presentations, guests are welcome to enjoy this year’s artist takeover.

The artists’ takeover features Chris Knight’s The Fall, in the Hammam, Millennial Wizard’s My Time in Limbo will be in the Gallery, and Motionhouse will be performing Gravity in the Assembly Rooms.

Free tickets can be booked by visiting the Royal Spa Centre & Town Hall website.
