PUPILS at Trinity Catholic School are leaving with strong GCSE results.
Standout performers at the school were Martha Moreton-Smith and Rosie Duffy, who achieved the equivalent of A* for English Language and Literature and Peter Hynes and Craig Williams who did the same for Maths. Jude Radley achieved straight A and A* grades.
Principal Chris Gabbett said, “Like many school leaders, I have felt real anxiety that these reforms to assessment and curriculum would bring real volatility. I’m delighted that through hard work, strong support from teachers, parents and peers, Trinity students have produced some results to really be very proud of.
“I’m equally proud of the students who have achieved their target grades, no matter what they were.
“Most of all though, I wish this year 11 group the very best. They have been a varied, talented and community minded group, and it’s been a real pleasure to support them.”
