MP Matt Western is urging residents to sign up for smart meters.
Smart meters are being rolled out by energy firms to allow households to keep an exact eye on how much they are spending on gas and electric. The meters also offer tips on how to reduce energy waste.
The Warwick and Leamington MP said: “Smart meters will give us all much more control of what we spend on gas and electricity, and finally put an end to estimated bills.
“I encourage everyone to contact their energy supplier today and get one.”
