Warwick Castle lights up iconic London landmark to showcase fiery new event

THE TALE of Guy of Warwick has lit up the London Eye.

Warwick Castle is set to launch its newest attraction Dragon Slayer, which depicts the tale of the ‘forgotten legend’.

And to celebrate, Warwick Castle highlighted its new show by emblazoning the centre of the iconic London landmark with the fiery breath of a dragon.

The castle’s first evening entertainment event will tell the tale of Guy of Warwick and will include fire jousting and a projection light show with pyrotechnics.

It tells the tale of Guy of Warwick, who famously battled mythical creatures including a Dun cow to win the heart of Felice, the Earl of Warwick’s daughter.

Following Guy throughout Europe, performances will start at sunset with jousting and sword-fighting in an arena, before a torch lit procession leads the audience to Warwick Castle’s main courtyard where the walls come to life to continue Guy’s tale.

The show begins from Friday (August 3) and will be held eight times throughout August.

Tickets start from £15.
