Warwick home could be demolished and rebuilt as flats

Laura Kearns 18th Feb, 2018

A WARWICK home could be knocked down and 20 flats built in its place.

Developers Hamble Associates has applied to Warwick District Council to knock down a two-storey home on Upper Cape and replace it with 20 two-bed flats along with parking for 28 cars.

But concerns have been raised about the site neighbouring a haulage company, which residents say is in operation 24 hours a day and would disturb those living in the flats.

A number of objections have also been received in relation to lack of parking and added pressure on the roads.

Councillors have yet to consider the application.
