WARWICK Rotary Club has welcomed a new president.
Outgoing president John Taylor has handed over the chain of office to incoming president John Hibben.
During his year in office, Mr Taylor raised over £3,000 for his nominated charities – the Children’s Hyperinsulinism Charity; Great Ormond Street Hospital, at their Conference; and Cancer Research UK.
The club also donated cash to Mencap to start a Book Club for its members in Warwick.
Mr Hibben is keen to encourage more people from Warwick to join the club to lend a hand with events such as the forthcoming Thai festival and Town Bonfire which raise funds for local charities.
