THE future is bright for pupils at Warwick school who are celebrating ‘fantastic’ GCSE results.

The school saw its best results since 2010, with 78 per cent of grades being awarded at A* to A and 95 per cent between A* and B.

Top marks went to Jeremy Worlock, George Holding, Matthew Cocker, Zakary Milstein and Alexander Sampson who all scooped 11 or more A*s.

Headteacher Mr Lock said: “I am very proud of our boys and these outstanding results. Scoring close to 80 per cent A* to A for the third year in succession is a very significant achievement and I must commend all our pupils on the way they approached these examinations as well as their teachers and families who have supported them so well.

“We inevitably focus on academic outcomes at this time, yet it is particularly pleasing that these results have been achieved in the context of a rounded and full education, which prizes academic success alongside endeavour and enjoyment in the arts, in sports and wider opportunities that will help forge the skills and character that they will need to lead happy and fulfilled lives.”
