Witnesses sought to group attack on lone man

WITNESSES are being sought after a gang of six men attacked a man as he sat on a park bench in Warwick.

Between 6.15pm and 6.45pm on Monday July 18, a man in his forties was sat on a bench near the Sea Scout hut in St Nicholas Park when he was assaulted by up to six men.

One of the suspects is described as being of mixed race, between 16-17 years old, of a slim build and average height.

The victim sustained injuries which required hospital treatment.




It is not believed the parties were known to each other.

Anyone who witnessed the assault, or has any footage of it, is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 323 of July 18.
