AN IMAGINATIVE youngster is flying high after creating a unique Halloween costume for sale in Tesco.
Saranne Black who goes to Ferncumbe Primary School in Hatton designed a ‘unicorn witch’ costume which has been brought to life in over 600 stores across the UK.
The eight-year-old swept away the competition with her colourful design, after reading about last year’s winner in Tesco Magazine.
She said her friends loved unicorns and she wanted to create something unique for them to wear at Halloween.
The costume features a yellow, pink and purple tutu skirt, a skeleton torso, mesh sleeves and metallic wings. A unicorn headband can be worn to complete the look.
Mum Tracey said: “Saranne is very creative and loves to draw, colour and make things. Her friends are all very excited and their parents have plans to buy the outfit. She is hoping to see lots of children wearing the outfit she designed.”
The unicorn witch will be available to buy at Tesco from £10. Sizes range from three to 12 years.
To enter next year’s competition, designs should be emailed to [email protected] before November 5.
