Adrian Riddell wins July Medal at Kenilworth Golf Club

COUNTBACK was required to determine the winner of the July Medal at Kenilworth Golf Club on Saturday.

Adrian Riddell carded an impressive 72, nett 70, to edge out Marcel Dalziel 77, nett 70, by virtue of a better back nine and the former also took the prize for the best gross score.

Terry Welch 84, nett 71, emerged triumphant in Division B from Nick Wright 83, nett 72, while Paul Clarkson 91, nett 72, took the Division C honours from David Sheepy 92, nett 73.

Previously, the midweek Extra Medal was also a keenly contested affair as Jack Keating won by virtue of a better back nine than Christopher Tucker after the pair both scored 37 points.

In-form Luke Swinnerton racked up an impressive 43 points to finish a convincing winner of Division B from Paul Freelove 35.
