ARCHERY: ROYAL Leamington Spa Archery Club will host its annual ‘have-a-go at archery’ open day this weekend, and hundreds of budding archers are expected to turn out.
Taking place this Saturday, the event will start at 10am at Old Leamingtonians Rugby Football Club and offer the chance for people new to the sport to have a go for free.
A grant from the North Leamington Community Forum has enabled the club to buy new equipment for beginners.
This includes kit specially designed to introduce younger children to archery in a fun and safe.
A club spokesperson said: “Archery is a sport for all ages.
“We welcome people of all abilities and anyone is welcome to join us and have a go.”
