Bright future for Leamington tennis duo

YOUNGSTERS Charlie Bridge and Ferran Redza have been tipped to have a bright future in tennis after impressing at the Warwickshire Junior Championships.

The two eight-year-olds from Budbrooke School came head-to-head in the final of the Under-8 category with Ferran taking the title, and he also won the Under-9 championship too.

Ferran also won a grade five tournament in leamington last week and has just received a prize for coming top of the leaderboard for Warwickshire Under-9s.

Charlie has also been in impressive form and came runner-up at Warwick University last weeknd in a grade four event.

Both boys are Warwickshire players and train at Warwick Tennis Club where they will look to continue their development.
