LEAMINGTON duo Lewis Williams and Morgan Ansell look set for a bright future in the ring after being invited to attended several England camps over the coming weeks.
The Clearys pair look set to demonstrate their talent on the international stage and impressing the national setup in recent months.
Morgan, 15, attended a special ‘cluster camp’ on Sunday where she sparred against boxers with international experience and she will be hoping to catch the coaches’ eye again when she attends a summer camp at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield on August 23-24.
Lewis is expected to make his England debut larer this year when he attends a senior squad training camp next month.
“The gym is in a great place and we’re always looking to improve,” said coach Edwin Cleary. “
“With England we have a great name now of producing quality, opening doors for the rest of our squad looking to emulate these two.
“All they need to do is keep working hard and things will happen. There’s one or two I believe that could be on the pathway really soon.”
