LEAMINGTON will begin the 2026/27 season with only three contracted players after the club revealed their retained and released list following the conclusion of the campaign.

The Brakes suffered relegation from the National League North at the end of a difficult 2025/26 season.

Long-serving boss Paul Holleran resigned from his role in December last year as the club swooped for Racing Club Warwick manager Scott Easterlow to take his place.

And Leamington’s squad will have a different look to it next season with 10 players to depart the Your Co-op Community Stadium following relegation.

Only Dan Meredith, Ewan Williams and Owen Farmer have had options exercised on their contracts to keep the trio at the Brakes next season.

The club have offered new terms to striker Tyrone Lewthwaite regarding a fresh deal.

A total of 10 players will depart the club including captain Adam Walker who has made more than 200 appearances for the club.

Defender Josh Quaynor leaves after playing more than 100 games for the Brakes while Tim Berridge departs on 98 appearances.

The other players to depart are Archie Crowther, Ben Blythe, Demico Burton, Eddie Brearey, Eric Yahaya, Miro Pais and Will Glennon.

Club legends Joe Clarke and Theo Streete have already confirmed their retirements from the sport at the end of the season.

And loan players I-Lani Edwards, Luca Alonzi and Max Brogan will return to their parent clubs.

Easterlow said “We thank each and every player for their efforts.

“Since I came to the club, their honesty and enthusiasm in everything we have asked of them has been superb and I wish them every success moving forward.”
