IAN ALLEN was the first Spa Strider home at the picturesque Blenheim Palace Half Marathon on Sunday.
Allen finished third place overall, clocking a time of one hour, 20 minutes and 54 seconds.
He was followed by Ben Parkinson (1:35:24) and Katherine Lambeth (1:40:16) who also recorded a two minute PB.
Also at Blenheim Palace was Alison Gibbons who clocked 1:10:07 in the 10km race.
At the Maverick X Snowdon Challenge, a 23km mountain course, James Hartwright (2:48:47) finished 15th overall while Anne Hurrell (3:26:15) was placed as tenth female.
Tess Robinson returned to the Cheltenham Half Marathon, claiming a 27 minute PB on her way to a time of 1:50:02.
In the Forest of Dean, Vicki Smith finished the half marathon in 1:50:02 to take sixth place in the V50 category.
Meanwhile, Andrew Bonjour, Helen Wright, Clare Bryan and Lucy Tugwell were at the Oulton Park Duathlon.
Bonjour finished the sprint distance in 1:07:34 and Tugwell in 1:23:15.
Wright (2:12:17) came first in her category in the standard distance while Bryan clocked 2:29:13.
