KARTING: TEENAGE star Harry Graham bagged third place in the 2017 birelART UK Karting series after finishing fourth in the competition’s final round.
The 14-year-old raced at Whilton Mill – and following a positive weekend in terms of form, his efforts proved enough to earn a spot on the podium at the end of season presentation.
Based in Cubbington, Graham started the weekend in fifth position following the opening seven rounds.
Knowing a poor performance could drop him to sixth, Graham qualified second before finishing second in his heat and winning the pre-final.
A fourth placed finish in the grand final was enough to bag third place in the junior championship, a result which delighted his team.
