BOXING: TRAVIS O’Neill looks set to have a bright future in the ring despite losing his first bout for Leamington ABC on Saturday evening.
The 25-year-old recently joined Ollie O’Neill’s setup in Leamington and showed signs of what he is all about in Bedworth but eventually lost to A.Chirick
“I think the occasion got the better of him,” said O’Neill. “He hit the kid with a couple of decent shots but his opponent deserved to win.
“Travis did well and is one of many raw novices we now have at the gym. He’s been with us for about seven months. Hopefully he’ll stick at it and get some wins soons.”
