TWO junior players from Leamington Tennis and Squash Club served up success as part of a four player Warwickshire team that won the 10 and under National County Cup title.
Having comfortably won the regional competition, Leamington juniors Dylan Pillinger and Sam Parsons joined Luca Pow, Daniel Agranovsky and captain Simon Ferguson to travel to Bolton last weekend for the three-day finals.
There were eight teams representing counties across the country and the Warwickshire side produced some magnificent tennis to progress pas the group stage.
They beat Yorkshire 4-0, Middlesex 3-2 and Avon 3-2 to top the group and earn a place in the finals against favourites Hampshire.
Leading player Pow claimed the first win before both Agranovsky and Pillinger lost tow very close singles matches.
Parsons and Pow played brilliantly to win the doubles match to level the scoreline at 2-2 before both players managed to hold their nerve and win the shootout tie break 10-7.
