NINE Royal Leamington Spa CC riders took part in round two of the West Midlands League hosted by Solihull CC at the Heart of England Conference Centre.
A mix of seasoned campaigners, relative newcomers and first-timers represented RLSCC with some great results.
Jason McNulty finished in an impressive fourth place.
The riders faced a fast, dry, twisting course which included a challenging sandpit where some stayed on the bike, while others chose to hoist it on to their shoulder or run alongside it in an attempt to get through the section as fast as they could.
The sandpit was followed by a wooded section.
A huge climb provided the day’s test of strength and endurance before the riders started their next circuit.
