Racer Harry Graham moves up to second in Easykart Championship

Leamington Editorial 25th Aug, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

IT HAS been a hugely successful start for Leamington youngster Harry Graham who sits second in the Easykart Championship after the opening five rounds.

The 12-year-old finished second in the opening three races at Shenington Kart Club, the Three Sisters Circuit near Wigan and Llandow in South Wales.

In round four back in June he finished third at Clay Pigeon in Dorset and in the latest round, which took place at Glan Y Gors in Wales, Harry narrowly missed out on a podium finish after coming fourth.

A visiting driver from the Barbados franchise took first place, but fortunately for Harry they are excluded from Championship points, which allowed the Leamington youngster to take the third-place points.

Harry’s continued consistent success in his second year of outdoor karting means he is currently sitting in second with three rounds remaining.

There will be a double header for rounds six and seven at Whilton Mill, near Daventry in September where Harry will be hoping to gain as many points as possible before the final round at Buckmore Park in the same month.

Since winning an Easykart back in late 2013, Graham started his second season in the sport and is currently sponsored by the Emerald Group & Pentlands Accountants as well as MK Racewear at Mr Karting.

It is his final year in the cadet class before moving to the junior class in 2016.
