Sports centre set to host free squash taster sessions

RESIDENTS across Leamington are being encouraged to take part in the nation’s biggest ever sports day.

A host of free sports events will be taking place across the country on August 27 shortly after the Olympics and just before the start of the Paralympics.

The Freedom Leisure centre in Warwick is playing its part by hosting a free two-hour squash and racketball taster session in 20 minute intervals from 10am-12pm.

There will be five courts available for use in blocks of 20 minutes sessions and a Level 2 Coach on hand for advice and guidance.




The taster sessions are open to people of all ages and non members, while equipment will also be provided.

There will also be an open weekend at Freedom Leisure from August 26-29 where there will be a host fun activities on offer.
