RACING Club Warwick were undone by three early goals as Scott Easterlow’s new look side fell to defeat at Townsend Meadow

Racing were taken apart in the first 20 minutes with goals from Keanu Cooper, Jay Holdcroft and Kyle Montague and despite pulling the deficit back to 2-3 with two goals from Romario Martin, Warwick saw the visitors take all three points back to Shropshire.

Manager Scott Easterlow however will be happy with how his new team is coming together with another two debuts starting the game in Ben Kendrick and Arman Khoshkhoo it will take a few weeks before the team really gel.

The second half showing will take away some of the disappointment of the first half for Easterlow and with Racing travelling to AFC Wulfrunians on Saturday they will look to pick up points to move them up the table.

Racing Club Warwick U23’s moved second in the Midland Reserve League with another thumping win, 2-8 at Gornal Colts with Stan Dube firing a hatrick and Beckham Whalley, Jack Avery, Connor Mort, Hanni Salami and Harry Davies making up the scorers.
