Title heartache for Kenilworth Croquet Club

Leamington Editorial 21st Sep, 2018   0

KENILWORTH Croquet Club narrowly missed out on taking the West Midlands Golf Croquet League at the hands of fellow unbeaten rivals Broadwas.

Club captain Philip Wood was unfortunately unable to play but Kenilworth took a 9-7 lead in the singles.

Adrian Morris won three games, with two each for Mervyn Harvey, Pauline Harvey and Phil Mander.

Both of the doubles matches went to Broadwas, resulting in a tied match.

However, Broadwas took the title on away bonus points.
