KATHY Goddard is celebrating after being announced as the winner of the Warwickshire Golf Club Surprizeshop Lady Captain of the Year Award.

Kathy received an unprecedented number of votes from her ladies section to become Lady Captain 2015.

The theme running through all her nominations were how highly she is thought of for many reasons but in particular her friendliness and inclusion of everybody.

She also works hard putting the club and others before herself, tirelessly working for the ladies section around work and is still there even through injury.

Kathy has been a great ambassador for golf encouraging new members and her popularity has been apparent by the increase in the participation levels in her events.

Her nominations repeatedly express that everything is done with a huge smile and sense of humour with a great light hearted atmosphere, whilst still observing the traditions and rules of golf.

The many nominations Kathy received are very heartfelt and she is being recognised as Lady Captain for 2015 for all her hard work and dedication to her club, her ladies and the game of golf.

Warwickshire Golf Club placed more votes than any other golf club so each member will be recieving a gift and the club will also be receiving one year’s subsciption to Women & Golf Magazine!
