ALFRED Hitchcock gets spoofed in The 39 Steps at Kenilworth’s Talisman Theatre.
Patrick Barlow took the Hitchcock adaptation of the John Buchan classic, complete with shootings, chases, love-scenes and train-rides, and gave it a comic twist.
The 104 character cast list might daunt some producers, but not the Talisman’s Peter Gillam as Richard Hannay who plays Peter Gillam. The remaining 103 characters are played by Katie-Anne Campbell, Des McCann and Ben Wellicome.
The action switches from foggy London to wild Scottish moorland and the Forth Bridge, and the set has been designed by Wendy Morris.
