WILD times are ahead for residents in Whitnash.
A series of activities at Whitnash Brook aims to help locals reconnect with nature, while helping the reserve to thrive.
The Wilder Whitnash Project will take place over winter to help residents keep active and learn about their natural surroundings.
A spokesperson said: “The last few months have shown how important being outdoors, surrounded by nature, is for both physical and mental wellbeing. Keeping active and getting involved in hands on tasks can be extremely rewarding and this project offers the opportunity for participants to learn something new or meet like-minded people.”
Twelve free taster sessions, run by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, will take place from October through to March. Groups will be small to allow social distancing and pre-booking is essential.
