A HISTORIC walk, talk and vintage afternoon tea has seen more than £600 raised for charity.
Leamington mayor Caroline Evetts hosted her first fund-raising event to raise money for The Alzheimer’s Society, NSPCC and The Samaritans.
Coun Evetts said: “It was a fantastic afternoon and I was overwhelmed by the amount of support we received to this sell-out event.
“Leamington is such an amazing town with a great community spirit and I am very much looking forward to my next event.”
On Thursday September 21 the mayor will hold a Winter Wonder Fashion show at the Town Hall.
Tickets cost £20 including a glass of bubbly and nibbles.
