Another coffee chain to open branch in Leamington

ESQUIRES Coffee will be the latest addition to Leamington’s growing legion of coffee shops.

The global chain has signed a ten-year lease on a ground floor unit in Warwick Street, the former home to the Co-op store.

The Leamington branch is expected to open its doors by the end of the year – creating nine jobs.

The chain – which was founded in Canada in the 90s – is now in more than 60 locations across the UK and Ireland – including in Coventry and Stratford.

Their Leamington coffee house will initially provide a takeaway service, before eventually offering a dine-in service once government guidelines allow.

Owner Martin Brown said: “Leamington is a forward-looking and exciting town, whose residents are increasingly looking for both an ethical and fresh offering.

“We look forward to bringing excellent and consistent quality, with a unique menu that will delight customers of all ages and tastes.”

Leamington’s town centre has a host of coffee shops from independently-run businesses to big names including Starbucks and Costa.

In 2018, coffee chain Second Cup shut up shop after a brief stint in the town.
