POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Leamington.
Officers were called to Forfield Place at around 2am on Saturday morning (November 5) where they found an injured woman. She is believed to have been assaulted by a man she knows.
Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A 39 year-old man from Leamington has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and is in custody.
Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time who may have heard or seen something to contact them.
