THEY were busy baking at a school in Leamington.
The Arnold Lodge School Annual ‘Bake Off’ competition saw sweet-toothed staff and pupils cooking up 12 cupcakes each to raise money for Katharine House Hospice.
Catering manager Richard Mitchell and food technology teacher Meagan O’Sullivan had the enviable task of judging the finished cakes.
And all the effort was certainly worth it as the day raised more than £500, which included the help of parents who brought in hundreds more cupcakes to sell in aid of the hospice.
