Bands take to the Stratford stage for Ukraine

BANDS are taking to the stage in Stratford to raise cash for an ambulance for Ukraine.

The live music event has been organised by Coventry and Warwickshire based charity Ambulance Aid and will take place at Stratford Sports Club on Saturday September 16.

All the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards sending another ambulance to Ukraine.

Ambulance Aid has already purchased 18 ambulances over the last year and a half, sent to Ukraine together with essential medical supplies for humanitarian purposes.

Three tennis players at Stratford Sports Club drove the first two ambulances across Europe to the border with Ukraine – Alf Rajkowski, Mark Pritchard-Jeffs and Richard Timmis.

The music event will be fronted by The Earl Gray Band with a guest appearance by Simon Fowler from Ocean Colour Scene.
