BARNARDO’S is calling on locals to donate their pre-loved winter woollies to raise money for vulnerable children.
The Leamington charity shop on Victoria Terrace has seen supplies of coats, jumpers and scarves fly out of the door as the weather turns colder.
Area manager Samantha Dean said: “We really need people to look inside their wardrobes and dig out any good-quality coats, jumpers and winter warmers they haven’t worn for a while. This includes boots, gloves, hats and other items.
“We’d also welcome any accessories, toys, books and bric-a-brac to restock our shelves.
“Not only does the money raised help to fund our work with disadvantaged and vulnerable children, but our stores also give local families the opportunity to buy clothes and presents for Christmas at an affordable price.”
