Beautician from Kenilworth to brave or not to brave the shave

TO SHAVE or not to shave?

That is the question for Julie Seunarayan, 46, who is holding a ‘Do Not Shave Your Head and Yes Shave Your Head’ charity event at the Clarendon Arms in Kenilworth on Saturday (June 3) at 6pm.

Julie, from Kenilworth, has two online fundraising pages for Genesis Research Trust – which researches conditions affecting new-borns and mums – and whichever one tips the scales will determine whether she shaves her head.

Either way Julie promises to donate her hair to children’s wig charity The Princess Trust as the alternative will see Julie sporting a mohican.

The brave beautician has also pledged to run 100km up the hills along Britain’s oldest road – The Ridgeway from Oxford to Avebury in Wiltshire – on July 15 to raise funds for the trust.

And in September she will clock up more miles when she joins other Genesis supporters on a 350km bike ride in Madagascar.

Search Julie-Newman-Seunarayan on www.justgiving.com to support her in braving the shave.

Call 07770 881895 to purchase tickets to the event for £10, which includes a drink and entry into the main raffle.
