A BLAZE which was started by ‘mindless arsonists’ took firefighters eight hours to tackle.
Southam Fire and Rescue were called to fields near Holy Well on Monday (September 2) at around 12.30pm and took until around 9pm to fully put out.
Firefighters say the incident was also difficult to access with a fire engine due to lack of roads and left ‘extensive’ damage to the countryside.
Police are calling for anyone with information about the fire to call them on 101.
