BLOOD bikers have received a £1,000 donation thanks to a local care home.
Charity Warwickshire and Solihull Blood Bikes transports blood in emergencies through its volunteer motor bikers.
And Ambleside Care Home on Evesham Road in Stratford made the donation to support its work.
Charity chair Chris Bourne said: “The pandemic has placed a huge demand on our NHS, and as ever, we’re keen to offer our support in any way we can. Due to government guidelines, we’ve had to put our usual fundraising activities on hold, making donations like this more important than ever.”
