A BODY has been found in a canal near Napton during the search for a missing man.
Jason Thompson was last seen at the The Folly Inn pub in the village near Southam late on Friday night (April 19).
Police said the 31-year-old’s next of kin had been informed and the death was not being treated as suspicious at this time.
Det Insp Tim Sharp from Warwickshire Police said: “We would like to thank members of the public for their consideration and patience whilst emergency services were in attendance.
“We are aware this caused some delays with canal boats in the area and I’d like to thank the volunteer lock keepers for their exceptional assistance.”
