LOVED-UP budding poets are invited to pen a verse in honour of their valentine.
A poetry writing and reading event is being held at Leamington Library on Tuesday February 13 from 6.30pm.
There will be the chance to write a poem with the help of current Birmingham Poet Laureate Matt Windle, BBC poet Jasmine Gardosi and former Derbyshire Poet Laureate Matt Black, who hails from Leamington.
The three poets will then read some of their own works, with Matt Black showcasing poetry from his new book ‘Spoon Rebellion’.
The poetry writing session starts at 6.30pm and is free to attend.
Performances by the poets begin from 7.30pm with tickets costing £6.
