Building damaged in Warwick Hospital crash

Leamington Editorial 7th Sep, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

A CAR has damaged a building at Warwick Hospital following a crash.

An elderly man was involved in the crash which happened around 1.40pm on Tuesday (September 6) in the hospital’s car park on Lakin Road.

Firefighters had to cut one person out of their car and the West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed someone was taken to A&E following the crash.

It is not yet clear how many cars were involved or how the crash happened although the car park was closed for several hours following the incident.

It comes just six months after a Land Rover crashed into a van and a car and demolished a wall on the other side of the same car park.
