BALACLAVA-masked thugs armed with a screwdriver forced their way into a Leamington home and attacked a teenager.

Three white men knocked on the door of the Coniston Road property in Milverton in broad daylight before forcing their way in and threatening a 50-year-old man with the screwdriver and hitting the teenager. The teenager was not seriously injured.

Jewellery was stolen in the raid, which happened around 1.30pm on Saturday (November 2).

The robbers, who fled in the direction of Acacia Road, are all described as around 5ft 7in tall and were wearing green balaclavas. One also had ginger hair and stubble.

Det Con Sara Skinner said: “Enquiries are currently ongoing and we are keen for anyone who saw the incident to come forward.

“We would also ask for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who has information, which would help with enquiries to please get in touch.

“Any information, no matter how small, could be important in our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or ring 0800 555 111 to speak to Crimestoppers anonymously.
