YOUNGSTERS are being offered the chance to take to the water by Leam Boat Centre.
Bursaries are available for junior kayak courses at the Mill Gardens-based centre.
The Paddlepower Passport course runs every week of the school holidays and provides a fun introduction to the sport.
Over three consecutive mornings youngsters are introduced to basic skills, play games and take trips up the river.
Six free places are available for children aged six to 12 who would otherwise not have the opportunity to take part.
