BUSES between Warwick Gates and Warwick University are set to undergo a £3.7million upgrade.
Stagecoach says it is updating 17 of its buses which run on the U1 and U2 service which also travels along Tachbrook Road and Leamington town centre.
It will include new vehicles fitted with USB charging points, wi-fi, and less polluting engines.
Managing director Phil Medlicott said: “We are delighted to able to continue our investment in better transport for students at Warwick University and the wider community in Leamington.
“These 17 buses represent a real enhancement with USB charging, a smooth ride and improved environmental engines.
“We hope our passengers both existing and new enjoy travelling on them over the coming years.”
