IT’S business as usual at Chez Rama in Leamington’s Old Town.
The clothes shop – the first port of call for many after a new school uniform or workwear – has sold off one of its two Clemens Street stores.
The original shop was something of an institution but loyal customers, many of who have been going there decades, can still get everything they need in the newer shop which continues to trade directly opposite the site of the original store.
Chez Rama is run by Ken Kanwar, together with his wife Uma and brother Gian.
A headline on a story in The Observer on February 15 led some to mistakenly believe Chez Rama had closed down completely. We are happy to inform customers this is not the case and the Old Town ‘institution’ continues to thrive.
