A MAN has died after his car hit a tree near Stratford.
He was trapped inside when the Ford Fiesta he was driving hit a tree on the A46 between the Bishopton Island and the Snitterfield exit at around 6am on Tuesday (April 30).
A spokesman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “He was assessed by ambulance staff but sadly it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
The road was closed for most of Tuesday while investigations were carried out.
Officers are calling for anyone who saw the crash to contact them on 101.
