THE QUALITY of care provided at Galanos House in Southam is outstanding.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) gave the seal of approval to the Royal British Legion care home during a recent inspection.
The 60-bed care home is exclusively for ex-service people and their dependents, and includes a specialist dementia care wing called Poppy Lodge. A team of staff, including registered nurses, care staff and support staff provide 24-hour care.
Manager Jo-Anne Wilson said: “To receive an Outstanding rating for a second time is an incredible achievement for the home and our staff. We pride ourselves on providing personal care that is all about living life. We are thrilled that the inspection has highlighted our individual approach.”
