Carols at Warwick Castle go from strength to strength

SOME 3,500 people attend the annual Carols at Warwick Castle.

People of all ages to join in the singing accompanied by the choirs of St Mary’s Church and the Royal Spa Brass band.

The Phillips 66 got people in the festive spirit with some Christmas songs before the event and Scottish pipers kicked off the festivities with a procession from the castle’s Eastgate to the stage.

Selwyn Rowley of the organising committee said: “The Carols at Warwick Castle event continues to go from strength to strength with fabulous support from local people and businesses – great news for the local charities and good causes we support.”

The event, organised by Warwick Lions, The Rotary Club of Warwick, Merlin’s Magic Wand and the Friends of St Mary’s Choir, was held to raise money for local charities and good causes.
