HUNDREDS turned out to celebrate the life of ‘Mr Kenilworth’ Philip Highley.
The 81-year-old, who passed away two days after Christmas, was involved in many areas of town life, from amateur dramatics to the scouting movement.
Such were Philip’s community endeavours he was selected to be a Torch Bearer during the 2012 London Olympics celebrations.
A service of celebration of Philip’s life was held at a standing room only St Nicholas Church on Saturday.
