Celebrity bargain hunters find autograph book featuring signatures of Hollywood legends

CELEBRITY bargain hunters uncovered autograph book featuring the signatures of Hollywood legends Clint Eastwood and Elizabeth Taylor at a valuation day in Warwick.

Christina Trevanion and David Harper visited Austin Heath retirement village to value items belonging to residents.

One of the highest valued was an autograph book belonging to a former MGM studios employee. It included a host of celebrity autographs and was valued at ‘several thousands of pounds’.

A collection of 18th century Chinese fans and signed prints by famed artist LS Lowry were also taken to the event and valued between £2,000 and £5,000.

Christina – a regular on BBC shows Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip – said: “The MGM autograph book was the highlight of a fantastic day. The collection belonged to a former pastry chef at MGM’s headquarters in London, who had managed to get it signed by a host of Hollywood names during her time working there.”
