THE FIRST Warwickshire Art Festival is taking place later this month – complete with celebrity potter.
The Secret Studio Artists are holding the art festival at the Woodland Grange Hotel in Leamington on Sunday October 23.
And Christine Cherry, one of the finalists on Channel 4’s The Great Pottery Throwdown, will be showing off her skills.
The Secret Studio Artists have organised exhibitions before but this is the first with the title Warwickshire Art Festival.
Artists will be putting on demonstrations during the day, including Christine who will be best remembered for her sculpture depicting the trauma of breast cancer.
There will also be a chance to view a whole range of works and meet the artists behind it, as well as commission a bespoke piece.
While there will also be an art tombola with all the proceeds going to Warwick-based Safeline that helps people with the trauma of sexual abuse.
