A GARDEN party has been held for patients and families at the Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU).
Staff and volunteers organised the annual event to raise money for the centre’s therapy garden and its weekly gardening group.
Along with entertainment, a raffle and cream teas, there was also a sing-a-long led by an ex-patient’s husband and his folk band.
Occupational therapist Gemma Wright, who runs the gardening group, said: “A massive thank you to everyone involved in making the garden party a huge success. The money raised will ensure the gardening group can continue to promote functional rehabilitation and improve the mental wellbeing of CERU patients.”
